Hello, we're Tranquil Heat: two guys from Portage, Indiana who met at a card game in high school, became friends at Ball State University, and have spent nearly every summer of our lives hanging out on the beaches of Lake Michigan. In the spring of 2026, we started Tranquil Heat Signature Hot Sauces.

The name Tranquil Heat reflects what we want in every bottle: balance. Too often, we find a lot of hot sauces are either all heat and no flavor or all flavor and no heat, we wanted our sauces to deliver both. Spice you can feel and flavors you'll love, where the peppers and the ingredients do the talking.

Our sauces reflect our personalities, the places and things that have influenced us: time spent living in Key West, summers on Miller Beach looking at the Chicago skyline (if you know, you know). Each recipe is a labor of love, with its own personality and flavor profile, created with different palates in mind. We love what we make, and we think you will, too.

What goes into our sauces, and the effort we put into them, matters just as much. We use all-natural ingredients with no artificial sweeteners, added preservatives, or artificial colors. For every batch we personally inspect and prepare the produce and ingredients, then cook, bottle, and package the sauces ourselves. We're hands-on from start to finish because we care about what we put our name on. In a world where so much feels artificial and automated, we want to make something personal, honest, and consistently delicious.

That commitment extends to the people we work with. We're proud to work with Johnson's Farm in Hobart and Hardwood Honey in Indianapolis. As we grow, we want to strengthen those relationships and build new ones with farms, restaurants, and other businesses across Indiana and the Midwest.
